Wilson’s Snipe

I woke up one morning and spied this bird laying on the ground in our backyard.  I was puzzled and much to my surprised, it’s a Wilson’s Snipe. We rarely see these birds here.  I quietly went outdoors in hopes of landing a great picture with my husband long lens. I’m still learning how to best handle the heavy lens.

Note: I shot this during the 52Frames’ “get low” theme. Getting low using my left knee as a tripod is the way I figure how to handle my husband’s lens.
