Framers Friday: Horizon

Time-lapsed Clouds

Here is what I wrote:

I ran across time-lapse photography by Matt Molloy a month or so ago and fell in love with his images and the concept. I decided to give this a try this week in our backyard. With the limited time I have on hand, I threw the images into Star Stax. (Matt Molloy used another star app that is no longer being produced). I was amazed by the different movements of condensation from airplanes. I also learned that the time-lapse of clouds is a lot like light painting, once the white clouds burn the images, nothing more can be shown. Someday, I’d like to try this while camping or staying at a beautiful place with a lovely landscape. In the meantime, I’m very pleased with my first practice effort at this type of photography. I hope you enjoyed viewing this commitment shot.

Footnote: I’ve been feeling extremely discouraged lately.  I’ve been feeling I’m not good enough especially after the Water theme week. I will be pursuing things I’m interested in and many of my shots will be commitment pictures from hereon due to the fact I’m practicing and learning as I go.   As always, I will be doing the best I can within the time frame given.
