Framers Friday: Orange


Flying Flower
Shot at South Llano River State Park, Junction, Texas

Here is what I wrote when I submitted this photo:

We are currently camping. (We’ll be home by the time the album posts). This is most likely a Monarch. Both my husband and I were thrilled to see dozens of them while on a hike. I’ve always loved trying to shoot flying flowers, otherwise known as butterflies, as they are quite the challenge along with the fact I adore them. This was shot with my macro lens which I, fortunately, had with me as a second lens on a hike and switched to using it.
